Director of Product, AI Growth

1Password  ·  Remote (United States | Canada)

About the role

Leads growth for 1Password's newer business in AI, centred on agentic access: products that hand AI agents the credentials and permissions they need to reach company systems, under the company's control. The role sits in Product and reports to the Senior Director of Product.

The director owns the growth thesis for this area, deciding which customer segments to pursue, which outcomes the product must deliver to win, and which workflows it should become part of, and revises that thesis as evidence comes in. A weekly business review pulls together field feedback, customer input and usage telemetry so the team can adjust targets and clear the obstacles that slow adoption. The role also runs a design customer program, acting as the single accountable owner for getting each early customer deployed and coordinating solutions engineering, customer success, product managers and a forward deployed engineering team along the way. On partnerships, the director judges where in a customer's AI stack 1Password should control agent access, pursues the integrations that complete an end-to-end outcome, and works with business development on commercial terms.

The team wants at least eight years of product management, including ownership of a revenue or adoption target, ideally on security, agentic or developer products, plus experience taking a new product area from hypothesis to customers in production. Enough technical depth to talk credibly with developers and security architects about how agents are built and granted access is expected. Travel runs at roughly 10 to 20 percent.
