Senior IT Engineer, Identity and Access Management

Leads identity and access management for 1Password's own workforce as a senior engineer on the IT Engineering team, working remotely from the US or Canada. The engineer runs and improves the company's Okta tenant, including policies, lifecycle management and difficult identity problems, leads projects such as role-based access, access reviews and automated onboarding and offboarding, builds SAML, OIDC and SCIM integrations, and adds safeguards that make identity changes safer and easier to audit.

The role also brings infrastructure as code and AI-driven workflows into IT and joins the on-call rotation. It wants solid IT engineering or systems administration experience, production Okta or Entra ID administration, Python or Bash with REST APIs, and Git-based configuration as code.
