Application Security Engineer

Provides application security engineering and sustainment for a federal agency's systems in Accenture Federal Services' Cyber Mission group, under the agency's SOC. The engineer administers, configures and tunes the security applications, keeps their SOPs current, and gives ISSOs the documentation they need for ATO and ATT reviews.

The work also covers adding ML and AI capabilities to the agency's security tooling, weekly security impact assessments, vendor product risk reviews, continuous monitoring with daily status reports, change management, federal logging compliance, and helping the service desk fix vulnerabilities. It asks for five years in systems, database, network or software work with a security focus (three with a degree) and knowledge of federal security standards; some assignments need TS/SCI, and Security+ or AWS Security Specialty is preferred.
