About the role
A cybersecurity engineer on Accenture Federal Services' Cyber Mission team who handles vulnerability management and security assessments for defence systems, networks and data. The engineer finds and mitigates risk across software, hardware and network components, runs security tests during lab and on-site assessments, performs STIG checks, works with engineering teams to prioritise fixes under the Risk Management Framework, and keeps RMF documentation and control artefacts current.
The team wants a relevant degree or three years of equivalent experience, Security+, and STIG compliance experience; CISSP, CISA and Red Hat or SELinux knowledge are pluses. The role is on-site in San Diego, requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, and involves up to 25 percent travel within and outside the continental US.
