About the role
Secures cloud systems for an Accenture Federal Services client in Columbia, Maryland, as a security engineer working alongside the client's cloud architects and developers. The practitioner performs or reviews technical assessments of cloud environments, validates security requirements, designs and integrates information assurance components for multi-enclave networks with differing classification levels, and reviews certification and accreditation packages.
Authorisation work follows NISCAP, the DoD and NIST Risk Management Frameworks and NSA/CSS engineering processes. It needs a degree and three years of experience (or five without), three years in IT, cyber or CNO development, network experience including a year in cloud, a DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM I certification such as Security+, and an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
