About the role
A senior security engineer in Accenture Federal Services' Emerging Tech Security group in Chantilly, covering applications, cloud platforms and infrastructure for a government customer. The engineer runs security operations across several platforms, writes incident response and recovery plans, builds monitoring for anomalous activity, and maintains cloud environments in line with governance policy.
The role is also COMSEC custodian for crypto key management, manages user access and policy, and advises the government with industry partners. It asks for a related degree, ten years in security engineering, web application and platform security testing, cloud security operations, firewall and encryption expertise, and a Secret clearance or higher depending on the position.
