Cyber Security Engineer

Secures uncrewed maritime platforms end to end for AEVEX's Maritime Systems group in Baltimore, covering vessel systems, ground control, communications and supporting infrastructure. The engineer designs security controls, improves how data leaves deployed vessels and how software and configuration are managed across fleets, hardens Linux and container components, tightens authentication, segmentation and monitoring, and turns assessment findings into engineering fixes.

The company wants three years in cybersecurity or systems security with Linux hardening, network security and vulnerability remediation, scripting in Bash, PowerShell or Python, and a relevant degree. Embedded, autonomous or control systems experience helps. US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance are required.
