Information Security Analyst

An information security analyst at Appian's McLean headquarters, focused on vulnerability management and FedRAMP readiness for a platform used by government and regulated customers. The analyst runs vulnerability assessments across the infrastructure, ranks risks, pushes engineering to remediate within contractual SLAs, prepares audit evidence and responds to auditor findings, and reports risk trends to leadership.

Appian asks for a relevant degree, two years in security, vulnerability management or operations, hands-on Nessus or Qualys, working knowledge of FedRAMP, strong Excel and audit coordination experience. Security certifications, cloud security and Python or PowerShell scripting are preferred. The role is on site.
