Information Security System Officer (ISSO)

Keeps the classified information systems of EpiSci, Applied Intuition's defence autonomy business, accredited across its Irvine and Poway sites, covering both collateral and Special Access Program systems. The ISSO works with the ISSM and with government authorising officials.

The job mixes documentation with hands-on administration: preparing and defending RMF packages such as SSPs and POA&Ms, running ACAS and Nessus scans and STIG checks, standing up new enclaves, acting as first responder to spillage, leading self-inspections and training cleared users. It calls for about five years of ISSO or comparable classified work, Security+, an active Secret clearance and US citizenship, with SAP experience preferred. Fully on-site, with 15 to 20 percent travel.
