Senior Security Analyst

Works as a senior analyst in Bitdefender's Managed Detection and Response service, a round-the-clock operation protecting customers' environments, from San Antonio. The analyst takes escalated security events, hunts proactively through network, host and log data using the Cyber Kill Chain and indicators of compromise, writes analytic signatures for suspicious behaviour, and leads incident response to investigate and remediate active threats.

The team wants working knowledge of incident response and investigation methods, threat trends, networking, encryption, packet analysis and SIEM tools, plus Windows, Unix or Linux administration. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, with rotating weekends.
