Principal Product Security Researcher

Leads Chainguard's product security research from start to finish as a principal researcher, tracking where software supply chain and product attacks are heading and what that means for the company's products and customers. The researcher sets the research agenda, designs mitigations across people, process and technology, finds systemic weaknesses and plans root-cause fixes, and works with executive and engineering leaders to get findings into roadmaps and architecture.

The role is also outward-facing, representing Chainguard at conferences and in published thought leadership, and mentoring product security staff. It suits someone with deep product or application security experience and a record of research that changed company-level outcomes. Remote from the US, Canada or the UK.
