Security Engineer

An earlier-career security engineer at Chainguard, working remotely in the US and reporting to the Director of Cyber Resiliency, supporting engineers across identity and access management, AI and cloud. Working alongside senior engineers, the role operates the company's cloud, IAM and AI platforms, implements access controls and authentication and authorisation systems, helps harden and monitor cloud infrastructure, helps secure AI and ML pipelines and agentic workflows, automates and troubleshoots systems, and writes runbooks and playbooks.

It needs a strong IT administration or software development foundation, hands-on experience in at least one of IAM, AI infrastructure or GCP, AWS or Azure, scripting skills, and a real interest in growing into security.
