Strategy & Operations Senior Manager (Security and Technology)

Works as the strategy and operations lead for Chainguard's CISO and the Security and Technology organisation, acting as the CISO's proxy in internal meetings and deciding within that scope. The role helps the CISO's leadership team set and execute an organisation-wide strategy, runs quarterly business reviews and OKR cycles, prepares board and all-hands material, and spots bottlenecks before they escalate.

It also drives cross-team programmes such as launches and certification milestones with the TPMs, designs the organisation's communication and decision-making mechanisms, and supports headcount and budget planning. Chainguard wants a corporate strategy and programme management background from a high-growth startup or top consultancy, an MBA or equivalent, and enough security and IT fluency to work credibly with CISO staff.
