Security Operations Engineer

A security operations engineer on Clear Street's SecOps team in New York, focused on in-depth investigations and active incident response for the financial technology firm. The team runs a 24/7 SOC, so the engineer works a shift rotation that can include weekends, and spends the job hunting for the small anomalies in logs and systems that point to real threats.

Clear Street wants three years on a security team, ideally in fintech or cloud-native settings, a deep grasp of networking, operating systems and log analysis, familiarity with modern engineering stacks and some hands-on use of AI agents. Fraud, AI SOC, systems or DevSecOps experience is a plus. The office requirement is four days a week.
