About the role
A cyber hygiene and metrics engineer in CLS Group's CISO organisation in Iselin, New Jersey, a vice-president-grade individual role reporting to the Cyber Hygiene and Metrics Engineering Lead. The engineer builds a security analytics platform on AWS from scratch: a security data lake fed by SIEM, IAM, CSPM, endpoint, threat intelligence and exposure management tools and normalised to standards such as OCSF, with KPIs and KRIs on response times, control effectiveness, remediation and compliance, Power BI dashboards, and board and regulatory reporting, all managed through Terraform and CI/CD.
It asks for seven years in data, analytics or cloud platform engineering, three on AWS data platforms including Security Lake, Glue, Athena and Redshift, strong SQL and Python, and a working grasp of security operations. Two office days a week.
