Director of Product Management, Platform

Cobalt  ·  Remote - US (East or Central)

About the role

Leads platform product management at Cobalt, the pentesting company, in a newly created seat among the company's product leaders, answering to the VP of Product Management. The team spans Customer Experience, Product Operations and Platform/Integrations product managers, and this director owns how customers connect to, configure and pay for Cobalt's pentesting offerings.

The job covers the roadmap for integrations with tools such as Salesforce, Slack and ticketing systems, building on a working programme that recently shipped a Wiz integration, along with API and webhook strategy and the product side of technology partnerships. The director also works with Finance and Sales on pricing and packaging across tiers and credits, owns role-based access control and authentication capabilities that satisfy enterprise security reviews, and oversees the operating rhythm of the Product organisation, from roadmaps and QBRs to usage metrics and tooling. First-year goals include a published roadmap, a new strategic integration, an adopted pricing model and an RBAC framework that closes known compliance gaps.

The company wants eight or more years in product management, at least three of them leading people, ideally in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity. Experience with platform or integration products, multi-tier SaaS pricing, and product operations for a whole organisation is expected, along with working knowledge of RBAC, SSO and SAML or OIDC. A background in vulnerability management or offensive security is a bonus. The role is remote in the US, listed for the East or Central regions.
