Manager, Data Protection Analysts (Americas)
Cyberhaven · US Remote
About the role
Leads Cyberhaven's Americas team of data protection analysts within its professional and managed services group, reporting to the Director of Professional Services and working remotely in the US. The analysts investigate insider threat signals and endpoint forensics, analyse data security incidents, surface risk in customer environments and write incident response documentation, helping customers run Cyberhaven's data detection and response platform to stop data loss.
The manager coaches and develops the team, hires and onboards analysts, and builds the structure and capacity plans to keep pace with customer growth. The role owns the quality and timeliness of the team's incident analysis, policy and dataset tuning, forensic investigations and executive reporting, sets playbooks for investigation and false-positive reduction, tracks KPIs, and is the escalation point for difficult cases. It also advises customer CISOs, SOC managers and insider risk teams on response workflows, presents trend analyses to executives, and feeds analyst and customer findings back to product and engineering.
Cyberhaven wants seven years working with data protection products, including two leading security analysts, consultants or managed services staff, and a record of hiring and growing technical teams. Deep DLP, insider threat and CASB expertise, SIEM and SOAR integration knowledge, endpoint protection across macOS, Linux and Windows, and experience running incident response for data security issues are expected, along with comfort using AI tools and agents.
