About the role
Shapes the Identity and Trust platform at EarnIn as a remote senior staff engineer, covering authentication, authorisation, identity verification, privacy, data protection, secure document handling, entity resolution and fraud prevention for the earned-wage-access company. The engineer sets multi-year architecture across OAuth, OIDC, SAML, RBAC and ABAC, MFA, KYC, PII tokenisation and data vaulting, builds secure distributed services on Kubernetes, Kafka and DynamoDB, sets reliability standards, mentors staff engineers and introduces agentic engineering with guardrails.
It asks for eight years of software engineering at staff level or above, deep identity and security systems experience, platforms such as Okta, Auth0 or Keycloak, and hands-on AI-assisted workflows.
