Cybersecurity Lead Engineer/Architect

The most senior individual contributor in security at GCM Grosvenor, joining a lean security operations team in Chicago. The role sets technical vision, reference architectures and standards and also builds and tunes the controls across endpoint, network, cloud, identity and the SDLC, owns core tooling such as SIEM and vulnerability management, leads the firm's AI security programme, and acts as an escalation point in incidents.

The firm wants eight or more years in security engineering, including lead or architect roles, plus cloud security, SIEM design, PowerShell or Python automation and experience securing AI systems. Financial services experience is preferred. Hybrid, in the office Tuesday to Thursday.
