About the role
A hands-on information security analyst for the law firm Gibson Dunn, based in Los Angeles or New York and reporting to the Director of Security Operations. The analyst is the main escalation point and subject-matter expert for security event detection and response firm-wide, analysing alerts raised internally and by managed security providers, building SIEM queries and dashboards, documenting investigations, and handling security help desk tickets and access requests.
The role also covers AI-related threats such as unauthorised AI tools, data exposure and prompt injection. It asks for five to seven years in security analysis, three to five in IT, Windows event logs, TCP/IP, and deep SIEM correlation skills.
