Senior Product Manager, Secret Detection and Vulnerability Research

Owns GitLab's Secret Detection product and the Vulnerability Research function that produces detection content for its security scanners, working remotely in the US within the Security product management organisation. The product manager runs the whole secret lifecycle, covering push protection, detection, live-validity checks, automated revocation with token issuers and reporting, and treats rules, advisories and malicious package intelligence as a versioned product with tracked precision.

The role carries adoption and revenue targets and works closely with engineering, threat intelligence and GitLab's own security team. It wants depth in application security, vulnerability management or security research, enough technical skill to reason about detection logic and CI integration, commercial judgment, and real use of AI in daily work.
