Security Engineer- Corporate Information Security- Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

A security engineer on GuidePoint Security's own Corporate Information Security team, which handles detection and response for the company. The engineer triages and investigates alerts, hunts for adversary activity, turns threat intelligence into detections and response actions, contributes to detection-as-code and runbooks, and builds tooling with AI coding agents so routine analysis is increasingly automated. On-call rotation is part of the job.

GuidePoint wants event triage experience with sound root cause analysis, a solid understanding of attack techniques, networking and authentication, Python scripting, and some real experience building automation safely with LLMs and AI agents. GCIH or GCFA and EDR, SIEM or DLP experience are preferred. US work authorisation is required.
