About the role
A network security engineer on GuidePoint Security's Heartland team who must live in the Denver area. The engineer gives clients hands-on support and design guidance on network security platforms such as next-generation firewalls, micro-segmentation and secure access, works with sales on technical discovery and solution scoping, presents security architectures, and writes assessments and implementation guides. The role is framed as a path towards a strategic advisory and presales position.
GuidePoint wants hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks, Check Point or Fortinet, troubleshooting skills across firewalls, routing, NAT and VPN, knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux, and a working grasp of security concepts across the CISSP domains. PCNSE or CCNP Security is a plus.
