About the role
A senior engineer in GuidePoint Security's Cloud Security Automation and AI Practice who helps clients adopt and secure AI platforms across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. The engineer leads engagements from scoping to handoff, designs secure agentic systems with MCP integrations, AI gateways and Cedar-based access policies, sets AI governance controls, builds AI-driven compliance and detection automation, reviews AI workloads, oversees quality on active projects, mentors juniors, and supports proposals and practice content.
GuidePoint wants a bachelor's degree and five to seven years of experience, hands-on work securing AI workloads in the cloud with Amazon Bedrock, Q and SageMaker (Azure AI Foundry and Copilot Studio a plus), consulting experience, basic Python, and a grasp of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and OWASP LLM risks. Travel is up to 20 percent.
