About the role
A senior firewall engineer for GuidePoint Security's Mid-Atlantic region who designs and manages policy on Palo Alto and Check Point cloud firewalls, configures Prisma Access for remote access, runs centralised management through Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager and FireMon, handles change requests and troubleshooting, and works with network and security teams on firewall projects.
GuidePoint wants five or more years in network security, expert Palo Alto and Check Point configuration skills, Prisma Access deployment experience, strong routing and switching, experience running estates of 50 or more firewalls, Splunk for troubleshooting, and PCCSA or a higher Palo Alto certification. Tufin, Azure networking and Palo Alto automation experience are pluses. No visa sponsorship.
