Engineering Manager, Admin Experience

Leads the Admin Experience engineering team at Horizon3.ai, which builds the backend that lets NodeZero customers administer their organisations securely: user access, parent and child account controls, account settings, and growing capabilities such as roles, access controls and audit logs for the autonomous pentesting platform. The role is remote in the US with up to 10% travel.

The engineering manager coaches and grows the team, sets clear ownership and priorities, and works with Product and neighbouring teams to shape the roadmap for user access, account hierarchies and administration workflows. The manager guides technical direction for backend services, APIs, data models and authorisation boundaries, balances new features against production support, on-call and platform health, and sets standards for testing, safe rollouts, observability, design documents and runbooks. Recruiting and onboarding engineers and keeping administration workflows consistent and secure across NodeZero with partner teams are part of the job.

Horizon3.ai wants experience leading engineers who deliver production backend or SaaS platform services, strong grounding in backend architecture, APIs, data modelling and operations, and experience with identity, access control, multi-tenant systems or account hierarchies. Teams building in Python, Go, Java or TypeScript, SQL, REST or GraphQL and Docker are expected; RBAC, SSO, audit logs, AWS, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes experience set candidates apart.
