Senior Detection Engineer (EDR), Autonomous Defense

The blue team expert inside Horizon3.ai's Autonomous Defense team, sitting between Product, Engineering and AI research and defining what correct detection and remediation look like. Neither a coding nor a product management role, it turns EDR effectiveness and tuning goals into buildable requirements, sets acceptance criteria and checks releases against them, keeps deep current knowledge of major EDR platforms' policies, telemetry and APIs, makes policy meaning consistent across vendors, and grades the AI agents' tuning recommendations.

The team wants six or more years as a practitioner in detection engineering, SOC work, incident response or threat hunting, hands-on EDR administration and tuning, strong ATT&CK knowledge, excellent technical writing, and enough Python and SQL to dig into telemetry. Fully remote.
