Senior Software Engineer- Agentic SOC

A senior engineer on Huntress's Agentic SOC team, reporting to the Director, Engineering, building the system in which an LLM agent investigates each detection signal end to end and records an evidence-backed verdict for analysts and customers. The engineer builds the tools agents use to query telemetry, the investigation logic and the structured output, encodes how analysts triage specific signals, adds LLM summarisation to analysts' everyday tools, extends evaluations to prove changes help, and designs against manipulation and cross-tenant leakage.

Huntress wants six or more years building and running production backend systems, hands-on experience building LLM applications with tool use and evaluation, solid backend fundamentals, security awareness and willingness to learn Ruby on Rails. SOC or detection experience is a strong plus. Remote in the US only.
