Staff Software Engineer - SOC Platform (Ruby/Rails)

A staff full-stack engineer on Huntress's SOC Experience team, reporting to an Engineering Manager, which builds the analyst side of the SOC platform: case investigation and triage, remediation actions, work queues and customer-facing incident reporting. The engineer sets architecture and design direction, builds data-dense analyst interfaces from data model to browser, sets the front-end quality bar with UX, leads security-by-design reviews, owns reliability of shipped features and mentors the team.

Huntress wants ten or more years building complex software, five or more in Ruby on Rails, strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS with complex interactive UIs (Hotwire, Turbo and Stimulus today), Postgres, cloud experience and AI coding tools. Experience building security products or SOC platforms and ClickHouse are pluses. Remote in the US.
