Head of IT Audit

Heads IT audit within IDB Bank's Internal Audit department in New York, leading the bank's most complex technology and cybersecurity audits along with reviews of system and application controls, IT processes, projects and data integrity.

The head of IT audit builds a risk-based approach to auditing information and cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity and physical data security in line with FFIEC and NYSDFS 500 expectations. The role leads the IT risk assessment of the audit universe and the resulting audit plan using frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and ISO 27002, runs high-value audits that find root causes and recommend control improvements, manages follow-up to confirm findings are properly remediated, audits new products and systems, and tracks technology trends and regulation that affect banks.

The bank wants around fifteen years of advanced audit or comparable experience in banking, deep knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy and IT risk, expert command of banking IT regulation and audit standards, and the confidence to present to board committees. Two of CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIPP, CGEIT or CISM are strongly preferred. The bank works a hybrid schedule.
