Software Engineer - Cloud Security

About the role
Joins Illumio's engineering organisation to build its cloud security offering: Go microservices in a multi-tenant, Kubernetes-based platform that process telemetry and events from public clouds so customers can see and reduce their exposure. The engineer takes services from a design reviewed by peers through build, testing, deployment and operation, works with product management on requirements and helps coach newer engineers.
Illumio asks for two or more years on distributed, scalable systems, hands-on API-level use of AWS, Azure or GCP, Go and SQL, and familiarity with REST clients, networking and Linux; Terraform or Ansible is a plus. The role is fully on site in Sunnyvale and subject to US export-control eligibility.
