Sr. Software Engineer - Container Security

Senior software engineer in Illumio's container and cloud security engineering group, developing containerised services for a multi-tenant platform that analyses cloud events and network telemetry and surfaces security insight and recommendations to customers. The work spans designing services and defending them to peers, writing Go against SQL data pipelines on Kubernetes, testing and shipping features, running them in production and coaching junior engineers.

Illumio looks for four or more years building distributed, scalable systems, programming-level experience with a major public cloud, Go, SQL and REST, plus TCP/IP and Linux knowledge; Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible are useful. The job is on site five days a week at the Sunnyvale headquarters and depends on US export-control eligibility.
