Principal Security Engineer

Principal Security Engineer in InterSystems' Managed Services organisation, which runs and secures the company's hosted data platforms across public cloud, private cloud and data centres as customers move toward SaaS. The role is the technical lead for security architecture and standards across these platforms, choosing and standardising core tooling for identity, secrets and network security such as Entra ID, Okta, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform and Palo Alto. It also leads cross-team security programmes, acts as escalation point for serious incidents and root-cause work, pushes zero trust adoption, works with compliance and risk teams and mentors engineers.

InterSystems wants ten or more years in security engineering or architecture across IAM, network, cloud and data protection, experience standardising tools enterprise-wide, and ideally a background in regulated sectors such as healthcare or finance. The role is based in Boston.
