Security Operations Engineer

Security Operations Engineer on Jane Street's IT Security team in New York, bringing an IT operations focus to protecting the firm's computing platforms and identities. The engineer deploys and documents security controls at scale, plays a central part in the vulnerability management programme, supports IT and IT Operations colleagues during security incidents, works with engineering teams on fixes, and helps write the team's operational playbooks.

Jane Street wants five to seven years as a security or operations engineer with Windows roots, administration of Windows, macOS and hybrid identity platforms, knowledge of attacker techniques, endpoint controls such as EDR, application control and disk encryption, solid log analysis and intermediate PowerShell. Incident response experience in a code-driven environment is preferred.
