Senior Linux Engineer, Privileged Access
Keeper Security · Remote, US
About the role
Senior Linux systems engineer on Keeper's Privileged Access Management team, building endpoint privilege management for Linux: the components that decide how privileged processes are authorised, elevated and run. The work spans a Rust agent using fanotify, procfs, namespaces and capabilities, native C PAM modules and .NET 8 session services, with careful design against race conditions such as TOCTOU, plus systemd services, RPM and DEB packaging, and diagnosis of SELinux and AppArmor issues.
Keeper wants seven or more years of software or systems engineering with deep Linux internals, strong C and Rust including Tokio, working C# and experience with security-sensitive authentication or privilege code. The role is remote, with hybrid working possible near Chicago or El Dorado Hills.
