Senior Manager, Application Security

Owns product security across LiveView Technologies' physical and digital estate as Senior Manager, Application Security, a player-coach role reporting to the Director, Security Engineering. LVT runs a multi-tenant cloud platform, AI video analytics and licence plate recognition, and deploys thousands of solar-powered camera units in places where anyone can reach the hardware.

The manager leads the existing application security engineers, hires one or two more, and starts a Security Champions programme across product squads. They set security architecture and standards for the whole attack surface, from cloud services and partner APIs to mobile apps, computer vision pipelines and edge firmware, sit in product planning to turn risk into backlog work engineers own, and teach teams to run their own threat models. Specific areas include enforcing and testing tenant isolation, wiring SAST, SCA, secrets and IaC checks into CI/CD, signed OTA updates and boot security with the hardware teams, protection of AI models and data pipelines, rules for AI coding agents, turning controls into evidence for SOC 2, GovRAMP, FedRAMP and CJIS, and running vulnerability intake, coordinated disclosure and product incident response with SecOps.

LVT wants ten or more years in AppSec or product security, with hands-on engineering and at least four years managing or leading technically, coding fluency in Python, Go, TypeScript or C/C++, depth in multi-tenant authorisation and API security, and some IoT or firmware exposure. The role is full time in the office at the American Fork, Utah headquarters.
