About the role
A hands-on IT security engineer for Make-A-Wish America's growing security team, working remotely nationwide; despite the lead manager title, the posting describes a technical specialist rather than a people manager. The engineer designs, builds and runs IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, email security, content filtering, application security and security awareness, performs assessments and vulnerability scans, writes policies, advises IT projects, and investigates alerts with the organisation's MSSP.
It needs five years in IT with two building enterprise security solutions, experience with endpoint, firewall, email gateway, IAM and SSO tools, and Microsoft cloud security. The role includes 24/7 escalation availability and some travel.
