Senior IT Security Specialist

Supports Make-A-Wish America's information security program as a remote security analyst, working with senior staff and the organisation's MSSP. The analyst monitors and triages alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, email and cloud tools, carries out first-line investigations and escalates incidents, helps with provisioning, access reviews and MFA, tracks vulnerability remediation, checks that controls work, and supports phishing simulations and awareness training.

It asks for two years in IT, with cybersecurity experience strongly preferred, exposure to EDR, firewalls, email security, IAM and Microsoft 365 and Azure security, and certifications such as Security+. The role includes 24/7 escalation availability and some travel.
