Senior Security Engineer, Infrastructure & Network Security

Senior Security Engineer in Metropolis' Corporate IT and Information Security organisation, setting up and leading a dedicated infrastructure and network security engineering function, based in Los Angeles. The engineer builds and runs a security-owned AWS environment for tooling and automation, supports Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, leads network security across offices, firewalls, segmentation, wireless, VPN and WAF, pushes zero trust, manages identity, endpoint and server security platforms, runs vulnerability management and hardening, and supports detection and incident response.

Metropolis looks for strong AWS and cloud security, networking and network security, enterprise identity, infrastructure automation and scripting, ideally Python, plus familiarity with PCI and SOC environments. The role is on site.
