About the role
A senior DevSecOps engineer at MetroStar supporting a Defense Intelligence Agency programme in Reston, Virginia, building secure software delivery pipelines across several classification levels. The engineer builds CI/CD pipelines from scratch in GitLab and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG compliance checks built in, writes CloudFormation templates for resilient, compliant DevSecOps tooling in AWS GovCloud, C2S and TC2S, troubleshoots Linux systems and services, advises developers on secure coding, STIG compliance and vulnerability fixes for ATO, and mentors junior engineers.
It requires an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph, five years in DevSecOps, DevOps, platform or systems roles, Linux administration, Kubernetes or OpenShift with Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation, containers and CI/CD; Helm and STIG experience help.
