Sr. Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II (6836) (Up to 25k Sign-on)

Senior Information Systems Security Engineer on MetroStar's DIA CDP programme in Reston, Virginia, serving as security engineering expert for containers, service mesh and microservices. The engineer designs and runs controls for containerised workloads, including image scanning, runtime protection, RBAC, segmentation and encryption, builds security into CI/CD under RMF, NIST SP 800-53, ICD 503 and FedRAMP, configures monitoring with tools such as Prisma Cloud and Splunk, handles incident detection and response, assesses Kubernetes platforms and APIs, and documents controls for continuous monitoring.

MetroStar requires an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph, CISSP or equivalent, a relevant degree, seven or more years as a security engineer on compliance-driven builds, and hands-on control work in IL5/IL6+ Kubernetes and DevSecOps environments.
