Cybersecurity Engineer

Cybersecurity Engineer on MetTel's Corporate IT team in the New York and New Jersey area, who both builds the company's security platforms and uses them every day. The engineer architects and installs on-premises and cloud tools, including CyberArk PAS, Splunk Enterprise and ES, Tenable, SOAR and Okta, across two active-active data centres with attention to capacity, redundancy and access control, then writes detections, dashboards and playbooks on them, handles incident response and threat hunting, supports SOC 2, PCI DSS and NIST audits, and may join red team work.

MetTel wants four or more years securing enterprise environments with hands-on build and operations experience, depth in at least two of CyberArk, Splunk, Tenable or SOAR, Linux and Windows administration, and scripting. Offensive skills are a plus.
