Principal Engineer, Secure AI Gateway

Principal engineer helping lead Netskope's AI Security Gateway, a cloud API routing and orchestration platform that inspects and applies policy to traffic between enterprises and LLM providers at more than 10 Gbps. The engineer sets the gateway's architecture and technical direction, builds Go services that route, transform and secure LLM, REST and gRPC traffic, designs multi-provider routing, failover and credential handling, inspects traffic in real time for prompt injection and other AI attacks, and integrates DLP, threat protection and UEBA, while mentoring engineers across the US, Taiwan and India.

Netskope wants ten to twelve or more years of software engineering with five in architecture or technical leadership, deep Go and Layer 3 to 7 networking, Linux internals, and Docker and Kubernetes. The role is based in Santa Clara.
