Platform Engineer - Identity Infrastructure

About the role
Works as a Platform Engineer in Washington, DC on Palantir's Identity Platform team, part of Information Security, designing and operating the identity systems behind both the corporate workforce and customer deployments. Responsibilities include identity automation, containerised services on EKS and ECS across AWS and Azure, SSO rollout over multiple Entra ID tenants through infrastructure as code, and the next-generation platform that treats agents and workloads as principals, with an entitlement graph, auditable authorization policy and least-privilege token issuance. The engineer also pilots newer session security standards and partners with compliance and identity security colleagues.
The team requires three or more years of SRE, DevOps or software engineering, hands-on production services and Kubernetes-style container work, expert Go, Python or TypeScript, infrastructure as code, and a TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for one. Hybrid.
