Senior Product Security Engineer

Leads security architecture and design reviews for Plaid's highest-priority products as a senior member of the Product Security team, whose work covers application security, vulnerability management, supply chain security and automation. The engineer threat models applications, APIs and distributed systems, examines authentication, authorization, trust boundaries, data flows and business logic for abuse cases, reviews code and verifies fixes, assesses AI-powered and agentic features, and turns recurring weaknesses into reusable secure design patterns, using AI-assisted analysis along the way.

Plaid wants five or more years in product or application security, experience leading design reviews and threat models for complex systems, strong code-reading skills and experience assessing cloud-native applications. Hybrid from the Seattle office.
