Senior Software Engineer - Product Security

Builds security software for Plaid's Product Security team, whose remit includes application security, vulnerability management, the secure development lifecycle, penetration testing and cloud security. Rather than reviewing others' work, this senior engineer designs production services, libraries and frameworks that make the safe option the default for Plaid developers. The role owns Plaid's VM Orchestration service for handling the vulnerability lifecycle, automates detection, dependency and remediation workflows in CI/CD, replaces manual security gates with engineered controls, advises product teams, and helps with incident response and awareness.

Plaid wants five or more years building and scaling production services; experience with vulnerability management, encryption, key or secret management, or authentication and authorization systems is a plus. Hybrid from Seattle.
