GenAI Security Engineer

Builds security controls for Point72's GenAI systems, both agentic and human-in-the-loop, within the firm's Technology group. The engineer runs guardrails for model use and API integrations, protects tool-calling and connector workflows such as MCP against abuse and data theft, maintains AI threat models covering prompt and tool injection, jailbreaks and leakage, defines secure reference architectures for cloud and hybrid AI workloads, builds detection for anomalous model behaviour, and leads response to AI-related incidents, while turning policy and regulatory requirements into tested controls.

Point72 wants six or more years of software engineering in Python, Go or Java, experience running containerised services on Kubernetes, hands-on AI or ML work and a cybersecurity background including threat modelling. Based in New York.
