Network Security Engineer

Engineers network security for Point72's global technology environment, owning the firm's Palo Alto firewall estate across enterprise and perimeter networks. The engineer designs firewall policy that balances control with dependable connectivity, strengthens network segmentation, watches firewall performance and posture for tuning and capacity needs, troubleshoots difficult issues to root cause, builds network security requirements into new platforms, and contributes to assessments and control validation.

Point72 wants seven or more years in network security, network engineering or infrastructure security, strong hands-on Palo Alto skills covering rules, app and user-based controls, NAT and high availability, solid routing, switching and remote-access knowledge, and experience investigating network security events.
