Senior Software Engineer II, Cloud Security

About the role
One of two engineers on Qualia's Cloud Security team, working with its engineering manager to secure the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure behind the company's home-closing platform. Most of the week goes to writing Terraform modules, policy-as-code and Go services: hardening IAM and network design, shipping admission policies and runtime controls, building cloud detections and posture checks, replacing standing access with just-in-time credentials, and handling the infrastructure side of incidents.
The company wants six or more years in cloud security, infrastructure, SRE or platform engineering, three securing production cloud, with deep AWS, Kubernetes security, strong Terraform and production code, ideally in Go. Based in Austin, with remote considered.
