Security Engineer, Privacy

About the role

Builds Ramp's privacy program from the ground up as its founding Privacy engineer, aiming to earn customer trust while supporting growth. The engineer creates privacy-focused application primitives and adds them to existing products, works with other teams to design systems that protect privacy and security by default, rolls out data retention and anonymisation across the environment, and follows changing legal standards with Ramp's Privacy Counsel to keep systems and processes aligned.

Ramp wants four or more years building software, at least two focused on platform, privacy or security work, and the ability to turn product ideas into engineering. Knowledge of data protection law and Python, React and AWS experience help. Hybrid from New York.
